TBH I found it easier to write when L was about this age than when he was slightly older; they spend so much time just sleeping on you anyway! (I wrote a short story for an anthology when he was about 2 mths, mostly on my phone during naps, because someone asked me to just after he was born, and like an idiot I said Yes. It's the closest thing to horror I've ever written and is all about someone else consuming your identity, which honestly I wouldn't have *said* was a thing I was particularly wrestling with at the time...and yet ;) ).

I really liked using baby sign; was bloody useful for filling in the gap between "visibly desirous of making specific communication happen that is more complicated than milk/sad/nappy/etc" and "actually capable of verbal language".
