I'm really happy for you that the experience was personally so empowering! It's also been really beneficial to read for me personally (thank you) as it has reaffirmed my decision that given I have a genetic disorder which I not only may pass on, but would also seriously complicate pretty much all aspects of the growing/expelling process, not doing this is actually quite probably a sensible option for me.
